This week I bring you Reuben Ondarza as our Hump Day Magic.
What has been your favorite shoot / campaign / work to date? Until my latest shoot it would have to be the shore series written by MR Joseph. The shoots were on the beach and the weather wasn’t quite spectacular, but we made it work. My first ever experience in front of the camera.
How would you describe your personal style, where do you pull your inspiration from? I’m pretty much just laid back. Staying in shape was a hobby but turns into a lifestyle.
Do you have any hidden talents? I can touch my nose with my tongue.
Do you get to travel a lot for your work? If so what’s your favorite city that you have visited? No I don’t travel a lot. I’m a Philadelphia police officer so I stay in the city. But while in the USMC I would say my favorite place visited would be Honduras.
Do you ever get shy in front of the camera? I would t say shy. I get more nervous.
Favorite movie? Big horror fan. But one of my favorites would be Interview with a vampire.
Five things you can’t live without? Hmmmm. My Stefanie. Pizza. Chocolate. The gym. And my family.
Give us five facts about you people may not know. I’m a quiet dude and keep to myself. I never forget anything. I cannot be late no matter what or I’ll start panicking. I love pizza. And again I love pizza hahaha.
What’s the best and worst thing about being a model? I wouldn’t consider myself a model really. But I can say the worst part is the extreme diets and cardio/ gym session while being a full duty cop. The best would be helping people create an image for their books or whatever else they decide to use the photos I do for.
What’s your biggest accomplishment? I guess it would just being happy. With work, my family, my friends, and the love of my life. If your not happy then nothing else matters. It may not be an accomplishment to others, but how many people can say they’re truly happy?
